Thanks everyone for your conserns. I told my son Johnnie, and the next day he brought me a bran new saltees star drag and said happy brithday dad. That made me feel a hole lot better. 
Last night I was fishing again. I fished at Jupiter Bridge and some how when I put my new reel in the truck the reel went on freespool. I stop at another bridge and all my line was stripped on my reel . lucky I didn"t loose that one to. this has not been a good week for me. Jimmy dean did catch one keeper snook.

My Avet LX did this when we left it in one of the rod holders of the boat on the way home. Somehow got into freespool and put 700 yards down the street and got stuck in a kid's bicycle. Funny stuff.
This story pisses me off. Will do you think we can make a section that just has threads titled with stolen gear. like a quick link for everyone to be aware of. I meet a lot of shady people fishing here and im sure not all of their gear is bought. JD I will keep my eye out over here on the westcoast. Also if ur looking to replace any of the gear ill be glad to help u find the best deals around on it.

I was fishing Juno over the summer when I was casting my bottom rod, I turned around and someone had my Newell 220 and Custom Lott Bros rod in their hand, walking down the pier -_- I walked over and was like "wow, i swear I had a Newell on a custom rod RIGHT HERE. and I walked over to the guy and he was like "I thought it was my rod."
Funny, I had no clue someone else had a Newell s220, with 15lb pink bullbuster, on a 7ft Lott Bros. rod that said "Kevin" on it.
i had someone swip my 12 and one of my 9 from my aparment so i started checkn pawn shops dumb guy went to the closet on to the apartment. ill be on the look out jd
